The City Council led the Pledge of Allegiance. PRESENTATION/PROCLAMATIONIS) Mayor Sexton read a Proclamation into the record recognizing Seagoville High School Football Offensive Lineman Montrail McNeal as the Dallas Morning News "Player of the Week" - for the week of September 6, 2010. Greenawalt also gave an overview of Seagofest activities. Seagofest begins October 30th. 7. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS Lee Landess requested a briefing from SEDC President and CEO Roberts to discuss developing the Trinity River Bottoms in the area of Malloy Bridge Carl Polnac requested an update on the lack of mowing on Malloy Bridge Road The City Council convened into closed executive session at 7:45 p.m. to Road. 8EXECUTIVE SESSION deliberate the following issues: 8A. Court of Record Presiding and Associate Judge(s) Process Pursuant to Section 551.071 of the TEX. GOVT CODE to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, or duties of a public The Council re-convened into Open Session at 8:28 p.m.. City Attorney Dodd officer, towit, the Interim City Manager stated the results of the Executive Session as follows: 8A. Court of Record Presiding and Associate Judge(s) Process Result: No Council Action Taken 8B. City Manager Appointment Result: The Council agreed to hire Larry Graves as City Manager effective immediately at a salary of $90,000.00, with an increaselevaluation to a Salary of $100,000.00 in February 2011.
