Gisoudle  MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL JOINT WORK SESSION AUGUST 21,2017  The Joint Work Session of the City Council of the City of Seagoville, Texas and the Seagoville Economic Development Corporation was called to order at 8:01 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017, at City Hall, 702 N. Hwy 175, Seagoville, Texas with a quorum  present, to wit:  Dennis Childress Jon Epps Rick Howard Harold Magill Mike Fruin Jose Hernandez Don Cole Jose Hernandez Barbara Sherman Stepper Sebastian Martin Ashley Harold Magill Alexandria Perez  Mayor Mayor Pro Tem Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember Chair Board Vice Chair Secretary/Ireasurer (absent) Board Member Board Member Board Member Board Member  The following staff members were also present: City Manager Patrick Stallings, City Attorney Alexis Allen, HR Director/Risk Manager Cindy Brown, Seagoville Economic Development  Executive Director Kirk Clennan, and City Secretary Kandi Jackson.  City Council called to order at 8:01 p.m. SEDC called to order at 8:01 p.m.  Councilmember Fruin made a motion for Seagoville Economic Executive Director Kirk Clennan to be excused from the meeting. A vote was cast, 5 for - Hernandez, Howard,  Magill, Fruin, and Epps, 3against - Cole, Perez, and. Martin.  1. Executive Session  Pursuant to Texas Open Meeting Act, the Seagoville EDC and the City Council may convene into Executive Session to deliberate regarding the following matter: A. Section 551.071; Consultation with Altorney-concerning the legal relationships between the City of Seagoville and the Seagoville Economic Development  Corporation    2. Reconvene Into Regular Session  A. Take any action as a result of executive session regarding consultation with Attorney-concerming the legal relationship between the City ofs Seagoville and  the Seagoville Economic Development Corporation  No action taken.
