STATE OF TEXAS CITY OF SEAGOVILLE  COUNTY OF DALLAS/COUNTY OF KAUFMAN CITY OF SEAGOVILLE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES  The City Council of the City of Seagoville met in a Regular Meeting on Thursday, May 7, 2009 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 702 N. Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas, with the following members present:  Mayor Council Member Council Member Council Member Mayor Pro Tem Council Member  Sidney M. The City Council led the Pledge of Allegiance.  PRESENTATION/PROCLAMATIONIS) The Mayor read the following Proclamations Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month Nursing Home Awareness Week  SPEAKERS  There were no persons to speak before the Council.  PUBLIC HEARINGS There were no Public Hearings CONSENT AGENDA  1. Consider approval of the minutes of the April 13, 2009 Special Called City Council Meeting. Motion: Harold Magill made a MOTION and Jose Hernandez SECONDED to approve, as presented, Consent Agenda Items  1A and 1B.    City Council Regular Meeting Minutes  May 7, 2009 Page 20 of3  Vote on the motion: Motion passed unanimously by 3 ayes-0 nays.  ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION: There were no public hearings scheduled.  PUBLIC HEARINGS ACTION ITEMS  2. Consider Resolution No. 24-09 authorizing the City Manager to sign a Fiscal Agency Agreement and Local Solicitation Document in Reference to Grant Application No., 2009-F18186-TX-SU for Justice Assistance Grant Funding Motion: Carl Polnac made a MOTION and Harold Magill SECONDED to Vote on the motion: Passed unanimously by a vote of 3 ayes-0 nays.  under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.  approve Resolution No. 24-09  CITIZEN COMMENTS FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS 5. Future Agenda Items.  4. There were no persons who spoke before Council:  Council Member Harold Magill asked for a future Agenda Item to discuss striping on Hall Street between the Hwy 175 Underpass and Farmer's Road. Councimember Jose Hernandez requested striping at Malloy Bridge Road at Council Member Jose Hernandez requested former Portland Blazers Basketball team member, and former Seagoville High School student  the Hwy 175 underpass to also be discussed.  LaMarcus Alridge be invited to accept a key from the City.
