Grasantle  MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JULY1,2019  The Work Session of the City Council of the City of Seagoville, Texas was called to order at 6:34 p.m. p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2019, at City Hall, 702 N. Hwy 175,  Seagoville, Texas with a quorum present, to wit:  Dennis Childress Jon Epps Jose Hernandez Rick Howard Harold Magill Mike Fruin  Mayor Mayor Pro Tem Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember  The following staff members were also present: City Manager Patrick Stallings, Police Chief Ray Calverley, Community Development Director Ladis Barr, City Attorney Victoria Thomas, Director of Administrative Services Cindy Brown, and City Secretary  Kandi Jackson.  A. Discuss regular session agenda items  None.  B. Police Department & Animal Control Update (Police Chief)  Police ChiefCalverley, provided an update concerning the Police Department and Animal Control. He also thanked Council for the new radio system. City Manager Stallings asked Police Chief Calverley to provide an update Police ChiefCalverley explained to Council that Officer Benavides was off duty, in Dallas, when he administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to a female until an ambulance arrived to transport her to a hospital.  concerning Officer Benavides.
