Discuss and consider approving a Resolution of the Board of Directors of the Seagoville Economic Development Corporation approving the purchase and installation of poured-in-place rubber surfacing (Vitriturf Bondflex System), including approximately 5" Compacted Rock Base, at Freedom Park from Child's Play, Inc. in an amount not to exceed Forty Thousand One Hundred Eighty Four Dollars and No Cents (S40,184.00); authorizing the Executive Director to execute any documents necessary for said purchase as set forth therein; providing for a repealing clause; providing for a severability clause; and City Manager Stallings explained this Resolution approves the purchase and installation of pour-in-place rubber surfacing (Viriturf Bondflex System), including approximately 5" Compacted Rock Base, at Freedom Park from Child's Play, Inc. in an amount not to exceed Forty Thousand One Hundred Eighty-Four Dollars and. No Seagoville Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) Chair/Coumctimember Hernandez asked if there will be a canopy over the equipment on the playground. City Manager Stallings stated no, there will not be a canopy over the equipment on the playground. SEDC Chalr/Counceimember Hernandez stated he is concerned about the heat on the playground equipment. Community Development Director Barr SEDC Chalr/Comclmember Hernandez stated he would recommend a blue or green 4. Community Development Director. Barr stated the fence will be four foot (4) tall. SEDC Chalr/Counclmember Hernandez asked if the cushion surface will meet the fence. (Water Utilities Assistant Director & Halff Associates) City manager Stallings stated Tim Lackey with HalfAssociates Inc. will present the Regular Session. date (City Manager) Economic Development Corporation concerning Freedom Park. Discuss and consider approving a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Seagoville, Texas approving a professional services contract with Insituform Technologies LLC, for the rehabilitation of nine manholes; in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thirty Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents (S139,997.50), which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Attachment 1; authorizing the City Manager to execute said Agreement; providing for a repealing clause; providing for a severability clause; and Assistant Water Utilities Director Putman stated this Resolution approves the rehabilitation of nine manholes that have collapsed. He also stated they are behind Councimember Fruin asked if the rehabilitation will be poured or the sleeve. Assistant Water Utilities Director Putman stated they are the sleeves. Discuss and consider approving a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Seagoville, Texas authorizing the City Manager as the Authorized Official for Grant Number 3965501 Titled, Mobile Computer Upgrade, and authorizing the submission of the Grant Application to the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division; providing for the repeal of any and all Resolutions in conflict; providing for a severability clause; and providing an effective date (Police Chief) Police Chief Calverley explained this Resolution authorized the City Manager as the Authorized Official for Grant Number 3965501 Titles, Mobile Computer Upgrade, and authorizing the submission of the Grant Application to the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division. He stated most of the computers in the police vehicles are. five (5). years old and this grant will allow. for replacing them. He also stated the City of Seagoville ranked number six (#6). for new projects and number Councilmember Fruin asked how many computers will be replaced.
