Regular meetings of the City Council are held the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month, beginning at 7:30 p.m.; the City Council meets regularly in work sessions at 6:30 p.m. on the same date as the regular meeting. The Seagoville City Hall and Council Chambers are wheelchair accessible. Special parking is available on the southeastside of City Hall and the building may be accessed by a sloped ramp from the parking area to the front area of the building. CONSENT AGENDA All items under this section are recommended for approval by a single motion of Council, without discussion. These items are considered routine or the Council has been briefed on these items at a previous work session and approval of the consent agenda authorizes the City Manager to implement each item. The Mayor will announce the agenda item and provide an opportunity for members of the City Council to request that an item be removed and considered separately. Consider Resolution No. 43-11 Ratifying an SEDC Project Agreement with Dean Gillani/Faisal Merchant for an Economic Development Incentive for new construction of Ace Hardware to be located at 600 N. Hwy 175 in the amount not toe exceed $300,000 and the Addendum to the agreement attached hereto as Exhibit "B" for the Conveyance of said Property SECOND READING (Pursuant to City Council Resolution No. 38-11 approving the sale of the land approved at the July 11, 2011 Regular Meeting; therefore allowing SEDC to add this addendum to the original incentive agreement and resubmitted to the council for approval.) 3. Consider Resolution No. 46-11 Authorizing the Mayor to Sign a Cooperation Agreement with Dallas County for Continued Participation in the CDBG/Home (The City Council will consider continued participation in the CDBG/Home Program administered by Dallas County. The CDBG/Home Program has assisted low to moderate-income families and neighborhoods with multiple projects throughout the Program city.) Consider Ordinance No. 05-11 Amending the Home Rule Charter by adding Article II, Section 2.18 to regulate the sale of Alcoholic Beverage (During the May 2010 General Election, Seagoville voters approved an amendment to regulate the sale of alcoholic beverages.) 5. Adopt Ordinance No. 06-11 Amending/Revising the City Charter as a result of On May 14, 2011 voters approved amendments to the City Charter as a result of the 2010 Charter Review. Since 1913, the Texas legislature has required Home Rule Cities to file certified copies of their City Charters and any amendments with the Texas Secretary of State. 6. Consider Applications and Make Appointments for Vacant and Expiring City the May 2011 General Election Boards and Commission Seats (Council will make appointments for vacant and expiring City Boards and Commission Seats.
