Giasale MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION DECEMBER 20, 2021 The Work Session of the City Council of the City of Seagoville, Texas was called to order at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021, at City Hall, 702 N. Hwy 175, Seagoville, Texas with a quorum present, to wit: Dennis Childress Mike Fruin Jose Hernandez Rick Howard Harold Magill Jon Epps Mayor Mayor Pro Tem Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember The following staff members were also present: City Manager Patrick Stallings, Police Chief Ray Calverley, Community Development Director Ladis Barr, City Attorney Victoria Thomas, Director of Health & Code Jimmy Stephens, Director of Administrative Services Cindy Brown, and City Secretary Kandi Jackson. B. Receive an update concerning building maintenance Director of Health & Code Stephens provided an update concerning building maintenance. A. Discuss regular session agenda items 1. Consider approving City Council Meeting minutes for December 6, 2021 (City Secretary) No Questions. Session. City Manager Stallings stated items 2 through 8 would be discussed during Regular Seagoville City Council Work Session December 20, 2021 9. Direct Staff concerning both Council Meetings for January and the second City Secretary Jackson explained both Council Meetings for January, 2022 fall on holidays and City Hall will be closed. She also explained the second Council Meeting for February, 2022 falls on a holiday and City Hall is closed that day as well. She stated Staff is seeking direction from Council concerning the rescheduling of the 10. Discuss and consider approving a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Seagoville, Texas, approving Garver, LLC., Work Order No. 2 for On-Call Consultation Services related to Plan Review, issued under the City's Agreement with Garver, LLC for Professional Engineering Services on a Task Order Basis, for total compensation in an amount not to exceed Forty Five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00); authorizing the City Manager to execute said agreement; providing ar repealing clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective Community Development Director Barr explained this Resolution approves Garver, LLC., Work Order No. 2for On-Call Consultation Services related to Plan Review, issued under the City's Agreement with Garver, LLC for Professional Engineering Services on a Task Order Basis, for total compensation in an amount not to exceed Forty Five Thousand Dollars (S45,000.00).
