Grasanle  MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL REGULAR SESSION JANUARY 9, 2023  Thel Regular Session of the City Council of the City of Seagoville, Texas was called to order at 7:20 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023, at City Hall, 702 N. Hwy 175, Seagoville, Texas  with a quorum present, to wit:  Dennis Childress Harold Magill Jose Hernandez Rick Howard Mike Fruin Jon Epps  Mayor Mayor Pro Tem Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember  Arrived at 7:21 p.m.  The following staff members were also present: City Manager Patrick Stallings, Police Chief Ray Calverley, Assistant Police Chief Steve Davis, Police Sergeant Karl Bailey, Community Development Director Ladis Barr, Public Works Director Chris Ryan, Fire ChiefTodd Gilcrease, City Attorney Victoria Thomas, of Administrative Services Cindy Brown, and City Secretary  Kandi Jackson.  Invocation - The invocation was led by Mayor Childress.  Pledge of Allegiance - The Pledge of Allegiance was led by. Mayor Childress.  Mayor's Report - None.  Citizens Public Comment Period- This portion of the meeting is to allow each speaker up to six (6) minutes toaddress the council on items not postedon the current agenda. Council may not discuss these items but may respond with factual data or policy information, or place the item on a future agenda. Citizens wishing to speak on posted agenda items will be called upon at that time. Anyone wishing to: speak shall submit a Speaker Request Form to the  City Secretary. None. Mayor Pro Tem Magill stated he would like to have a discussion with the Police Department Councilmember Fruin stated he would like an item on the Agenda to consider re-evaluating working hours for Animal Control and Code Enforcement to include evening and weekend  concerning the gunfire over the holiday.  hours.
