STATE OF TEXAS CITY OF SEAGOVILLE COUNTY OF DALLAS/COUNTY OF KAUFMAN CITY OF SEAGOVILLE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES The City Council of the City of Seagoville met in a Regular Meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2009 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 702 N. The City Council led the Pledge of Allegiance. City Council Regular Meeting Minutes April 16, 2009 Page 2 of3 CONSENT AGENDA 1. Consider approval of the minutes of the April 2, 2009 City Council Meeting. Motion: Jose Hernandez made a MOTION and Harold Magill SECONDED to approve, as presented, the items on the Consent Agenda. Vote on the motion: Motion passed unanimously by 5 ayes-0 nays. ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION There were no public hearings scheduled. PUBLIC HEARINGS ACTION ITEMS 2. Consider Ordinance No. 05-09 to approve Budget Amendment #1 for the Motion: Carl Polnac made a MOTION and Harold Magill SECONDED to Vote on the motion: Passed unanimously by a vote of 5 ayes-O nays. 3. Consider approving Resolution No. 23-09 of the City of Seagoville, Texas, Declaring Certain Property Surplus and Authorizing the City Manager to Sell/Trade-In Property and/or Dispose of the Property in Accordance with the Motion: Brenda Thompson made a MOTION and Marshall Green Vote on the motion: Passed unanimously by a vote of 5 Ayes-0 nays. Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Operating Budget approve Ordinance No.05-09 Processes Established in the Code of Ordinances SECONDED to approve Ordinance No. 23-09. CITIZEN COMMENTS 4. There were two persons to speak before the Council: Jess Cathey, 605 Flowers Street, addressed the City Council to thank the City and Parks and Recreation Board for improvements to Seagoville Parks Leon Love, 704 Farmers Road, addressed the City Council to compliment all of the City volunteers, and to thank the City for installing lights in Bearden infrastructure. Council Member Harold Magill asked for a future Agenda Item to determine if there had been any "incidents" with large dogs on the Central Park Walking Trails.
