Correction  COUNTY OF DALLAS/COUNTY OF KAUFMAN CITY OF SEAGOVILLE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES  CITY OF SEAGOVILLE  The City Council of the City of Seagoville met in a Special-Called Meeting on Regular Meeting on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 702 N. The City Council led the Pledge of Allegiance. Sexton, Jr.  Joined by out-going Mayor Pro Tem Thompson and out-going Council Member Polnac, Mayor Sexton read the following statement into the record: On behalf of the City Council, please accept our deepest appreciation for over 28 years of combined service to Seagoville. Both Mrs. Thompson and Mr. Polnac have a demonstrated commitment to Seagoville citizens by serving on City Boards and Commissions before being elected to the Mrs. Thompson's board service includes: Seagoville Economic Development Board President and Secretary, Charter member and President of Keep Seagoville Beautiful in While Mr. Polnac served three years on the Seagoville Parks and Recreation Board, and While tonight brings to a close Brenda Thompson's four-year tenure as Mayor Pro Tem, after serving two years in Council Place 2. And concludes Carl Polnac's six-year tenure in Council Place Four, your efforts are visible in our parks, the businesses that have located to Seagoville, and all across the City. Your contributions will be felt for years to come. We appreciate the time that you have taken from your families for the benefit of Seagoville.
