No. 2023-0-09 Game Room Discuss and approve an ordinance ofthe City ofPalacios, Texas, placing location requirements for gamer rooms and amusement redemption machines; providing a penalty; and providing an effective date. Presented by Police Chief Tobie Bias. Chief Bias presented the Game Room ordinance and answered questions from Council. Council requested the definition of "game room" be placed in the ordinance, as well as further details regarding allowed locations of game rooms.
