Water Wells  b.V Wastewater Treatment Plant  Ryan Champ, WWTP operator was present to report that the pumps at the plant are not working properly. Between the pumps and the digestor are a series of valves that can be shut off for maintenance. Ands somewhere in between isac clog. The pumpi is pumping but not pulling United Rentals had previously came by and talked about solutions to the problem. Something they specialize in is emergency bypass. Ryan proposed to the City Council to engage with United Rentals to clear the line for approximately $11,000.00. They would bring a rubber truck, and pump truck to take the sludge out and put backi in the plant and a roto rooter to cut anything The Mayor suggested calling GTG Solutions to: seei ift they could help with this issue. Mayor Pro- Tem. Jimmy Counts and Alderman. Jack Souther were offering possible solutionsi tot tryf first tol keep Mayor Prol Tem. Jimmy Counts suggested tol looki into other options, but ify you! have to, youl have to, and authorize thel Mayor to do what needs to be done so that it doesn't have to come back tot the council andt things can't get done that needt to be done. Mayor Self would likei tot try with GTG Solutions first, andi if all options have been exhausted, then call United Rentals to do the Motion by. Jimmy Counts and seconded by Hannah Huffman on Iten 10.b.1 to give Mayor Selfa and Ryan Champ the authority to call GTG to try to unclog the plant, and ift that doesn't work then 11.
