STATE OF TEXAS *** ÇOUNTY OF HENDERSON *** CITY OF BROWNSBORO *** The City Council met in the City Hall of the City of Brownsboro, Texas on November 28, 2022 at 5:00 P.M. for a regular meeting. I. Call to order: Mayor Dusty Wise II. Invocation: Mayor Dusty Wise Doug Shaffer, Charles Cox and Glen Vest III. Those present included Council members Trayce West, Len Vest, Absent: None Ashton, Utility Supt. Absent: None Guest(s): See attached favor, motion carried. Staff Present: Ronnie Goodson, Maint. Supt. Chief Danny Ford and Jacob IV. Motion to approve previous minutes of October 31,2022 meeting made by Councilman Doug Shaffer, second by Councilman Glen Vest, all were in V. Motion to approve expenditures made by Councilman Len Vest, second by Councilman Charles Cox, all were in favor, motion carried. Justin Redding, Fulgham Cr., advised the engineer had been out to evaluate problem, he is concerned about a wash out at the concrete slab under his carport. Corey Frentress, Frentress Eng., says plans are in Bryan Reynolds advised Ingram Street needs to be milled up and re-layed, there has been 10" of road lost from side of Ingram in past month and 1. Councilman Len Vest made motion to table approval of Interlocal Agreement with District Attorney office regarding Special Task Force for Crimes Against Children. Vote on agreement at the December meeting. Councilman Glen Vest second the motion, all were in favor, 2. Leah Childress was not in attendance, but asked attention be given to Mountain View Road as it is barely passable. Mr. Goodson will speak with Pct. 3 Commissioner regarding possibility of assistance with road repairs and speak with Jay Mills regarding abandoning the road. Councilman Len Vest made motion to table until December meeting, motion was second by Trayce West, all were in favor, motion carried. VI. Presentation by Citizens: the design stage and about 2 weeks out. half. VII. New Business: motion carried. 3. Councilman Glen Vest made motion to approve purchase of generator for water system, motion was second by Len Vest, all were in favor, motion 4.3 Councilman Glen Vest made motion to approve Ordinance No. 2022-1128, "An Ordinance of the City Council of Brownsboro, Texas Providing for a Collection Fee for Delinquent Utility Bills", motion was second by 5. Councilman Len Vest made motion to approve New Business Application as presented by Dan McLean, motion was second by Glen Vest, all were in 7. Motion was made by Councilman Glen Vest to accept resignation of Councilman Len Vest, motion was second by Doug Shaffer, all were in 8. Councilman Glen Vest made motion to appoint Jason Gardner to fill seat Vacated by Len Vest, motion was second by Trayce West, all were in carried. Doug Shaffer, all were in favor, motion carried. 6. Items of discussion by Council Members: None X. Staff Reports: Utility Dept.: Jacob Ashton advised he had "unexpected" TCEQ audit the past week, all went well except the need for new fencing. Police Dept.: Chief Ford gave statistics Maintenance: Mr. Goodson advised they had replaced some of the wiring at the baseball field.
