Discussion and possible action on Squirrel Trail - Blaire Friar, Seguin Main Street & CVB Assistant Director. Blaire Friar discussed the possible action on the Squirrel Trail. Sponsored. squirrels as of3/13/2024 are 15 and 10: squirrel sponsors. for FY24.Artwork was reviewedfor Beicker, Squirrel for Matador  motion. Motion carried.    Stadium. Joanna Rodriguez made a motion to approve the Squirrel artwork. Andrea Hoffmann  seconded. the motion. Motion carried.  4. Discussion and possible action on the 2023 Arts Awards -Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street & CVB Director. Kyle Kramm discussed the possible action on the 2023. Arts Awards. The Commission reviewed the nominations from the Commission and previous years. The Commission voted as follows. Arts Organization of the year Seguin Conservation Society/Texas Theatre, Outstanding Contributor to the Arts Robin Roberts-Walker, Youth. Artist oft the Year. Sophia Sauceda, and Certificate of Appreciation 5. Discussion and possible action on the Seguin Arts Grant Program- Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street & CVB  CARSTAR Shanafelt.  Director.  Kyle Kramm discussed the possible action on the, Seguin. Arts Grant Program. The Commission reviewed. Austin Street Market and. LULAC. Austin Street Market is requesting $1250fortieirfence mural. LULACis requesting $4000 in sponsorshipfor: their Cinco de Mayo Pachanga. Seguin Leadership is requesting $5000 for their public art SEGUINI letters. Andrea Hoffmann made a motion to approve $1250 to Austin Street. Market, and Seguin Leadership's application is pending and will be discussed during the next Arts Commission meeting. Clara Mae Marcotte seconded the motion. Motion carried. Susann Rinn made a motion to approve. sponsoring LULAC's Cinco de Mayo. Panchanga in the amount of $4000. Mike. De Leon seconded the motion.
