NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF CLARENDON, TEXAS  Clarendon  THURSDAY, AUGUST'22, ,2024  Notice is hereby given that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held by the Clarendon City Council, as the Governing Body of the City of Clarendon, at a Called Council Meeting on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., at City Hall, 313 S. Sully, Clarendon, Texas  79226, for the purpose of considering the following:  Public Hearing for the Purpose of Adopting the City of Clarendon's Budget for  Fiscal Year 2024-2025.  THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE TOTAL PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR'S BUDGET BY $13,597 OR 3.62%, AND OF THAT AMOUNT, $355 IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR. The Clarendon City Council will vote to adopt the Budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 at the end of the Public Hearing.  A copy of the Proposed Budget, as submitted to City Council and filed in the City Secretary's office, is available for public inspection at the office of the City Secretary, 313 S. Sully, Clarendon, Texas, Monday  through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning on August 12, 2024.  CERTIFICATION  Ihereby certify that the above notice of meeting was posted on the window of City Hall; City of Clarendon, Texas, a place readily accessible to the general public at all times, on the 19th day of August 2024 at 8:1le a.m., and remained posted for at least 72 continuous hours proceeding the scheduled time ofs said meeting.
