Jeanes called the court into Special Session at 9:30a a.m.  1.CONSIDER ADOPTION OF THE WOOD COUNTY FY 2019 BUDGET INCLUDING SPECIAL  BUDGETS ANDI FUNDS.  Judge. Jeanesi identified the firsta agenda item ast the' Wood County FY2019E Budgeti including Special Budgets Commissioner Gaskill made a motion to approve the adoption of the Wood County FY 2019 Budget including Special Budgets and Funds. Commissioner Holland seconded the motion. Members voting in favor included. Judge. Jeanes, Commissioner) Holland, Commissioner Gaskill, Commissioner Simmons and Commissioner WHEREFORE iti is ORDERED, ADJUDGED and DECREED that the adoption oft the Wood County FY  and Funds.  Acker; motion carried.  20191 Budgeti including Special Budgets and Funds are HEREBY APPROVED. Ac copy oft the Budget Summary is attached to these minutes. 2. CONSIDER. APPROVAL OF' THE' TAXI RATE ADOPTION.  Judge. Jeanes read the Resolution Setting Wood County, Texas' Tax Rate for 2019. "I movet that the property tax rate bei increased by the adoption ofa tax rate of $0.5799." $0.5799. Commissioner Simmons seconded the motion and all members voted "aye". See copy of Resolution #21-18 and Record Vote attached to these minutes.  Ther motion reads:  Commissioner Acker made a motion that the property tax rate bei increased byt the adoption ofat tax rate of WHEREFOREiti is ORDERED, ADJUDGED: and DECREED thatt the property tax rate bei increased byt the  adoption ofat tax rate of $0.5799 is HEREBY APPROVED.  3. RECORD VOTE TO RAISE MORE REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES THAN IN THE  PREVIOUS YEAR.  Judge. Jeanes read the Motion of Ratification.  Commissioner Hollandi madear motiont to ratify thej property tax increase reflectedi int thel budget whichr raises more revenue from property taxes thani in the previous year.
