Steven Johannessen made a motion to approve the agenda with no changes or additions. Keven Hawkins seconded the motion and it carriedumanimoush. Approval of the Minutes Steven Johannessen made a motion to approve the minutes from May 11, 2017. Keven Hawkins seconded the motion and it carried unanimously, Public Comment There were no public comments. New Business: Public Hearing = Cullowhee Community Planning Area Development Standards, Article Scott Baker opened the public hearing at 6:04 p.m., regarding two proposed amendments to the Cullowhee Community Planning Area Development Standards. The first, concerning single family residential setbacks in Article IV, was recommended for approval by the Cullowhee Planning Council on May 1, 2017. The amendment will refer all single family residential setbacks to Sec. 4-7. Single family setbacks are 20' in the front and 10 in the sides The second amendment, concerning the Townhome District, was recommended for approval by the Cullowhee Planning Council on June 12, 2017. The amendment will ultimately turn the TH Townhome District into "Multi-Family Residential - Low Density." IV: Single Family etbacks/Townhome Residential Amendments and rear., Scott Baker closed the public hearing at 6:08 p.m. Kirk Stephens made a motion to recommend approval of the two Cullowhee Community Planning Area Development Standards amendments. Julie Painter seconded the motion and it Public Hearing - Cashiers Commercial Area Land Development Amendment, Article VII: Scott Baker opened the public hearing at 6:14 p.m., regarding an amendment to Article VII of the Cashiers Commercial Area Land Development standards concerning sidewalks. The amendment was recommended for approval by the Cashiers Planning Council on. June 26, 2017. The amendment will add a requirement to construct sidewalk the full length of a parcel along public thoroughfares that is being developed, redeveloped, or changed to a nonresidential use. Steven Johannessen made a motion to recommend approval of the Cashiers Commercial Area Land Development sidewalk amendment. Kirk Stephens seconded the motion and it carried carried unanimously. Sidewalks Amendment Scott Baker closed the public hearing at 6:15 p.m. unanimously.
