TOWN OF PLYMOUTH SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES  AUGUST 11, 2022- VIA NEW CHAPEL BAPTIST CHURCH AND ZOOM  7:00 p.m.  CALL TO ORDER - Mayor Brian Roth  The Mayor opened the meeting and welcomed all attendees.  PRESENT ABSENT  COUNCILMEMBER  X X X X X X  Mayor Pro-Tempore Brooks Councilman Boston Councilwoman Byers Councilman Tharps Counciwoman Williams Councilman Wobbleton Mayor Roth  X  Mayor Roth gave Mayor Pro-Tempore Brooks the floor. Mayor Pro-Tempore Brooks welcomed the guests to the church and gave some logistical and housekeeping instructions, after which she led the opening prayer. Mayor Roth Mayor Roth explained that the Town is working with Allison Platt on a Streetscape and Waterfront Design plan, what it entails, and its potential location. Mayor Roth reported that former Mayor Vershumn Hawkins had recently passed The meeting continued with Mayor Roth explaining that the tight timeline that the Town is on in regard to this project and announced that there will be a second meeting that Ms. Platt will attend in order to receive citizen input. Mayor Roth pointing out renderings that were supplied by Ms. Platt. Mayor Pro-Tempore Brooks stated that the design for streetscape should take into consideration for not only visitor, but citizens as well. Councilman Wobbleton expressed his excitement about the project. Mayor Roth then opened the floor and asked  led the Pledge of Allegiance.  away and asked for a moment of silence in remembrance.  attendees for their input about the plan and drawings.  II.  ADJOURNMENT  After receiving input from several citizens and guests, as well as the Council, Mayor Roth thanked the attendees, staff, and the host church. A motion to adjourn was made by Counciwoman Williams with a second by Mayor Pro-  Tempore Brooks. The motion passed 5-0.
