July was comparable to previous years with revenues about even fort the month, compared to. July 2023; a decrease of $11,519.0 Overall, there has been ani increase of $32,149 or 8.45% in revenues fort the period April July 2024 in comparison to the same period in 2023. Tennis continues to show positive growth in the program this season. July revenue, like golf, showed a decrease of $3,171 in comparison to. July 2023. Overall, there has been an increase of $6,444 or 20.81% in revenues for the period May July 2024 in comparison to the same period in 2023. Notice to Restore Properties: The property owners of lots 134/135 Rough Ridge Road were issued a zoning permit in 2023, and now have beens sent a notice requiring them to restore the respectiveproperty tot the original state and the Village's zoning permit is invalid; effective immediately. There was tree removal and grading that had taken place when the zoning permit was issued, and there has been no activity for construction oft the home since that time. The notice requires the owner to remove all debris, re-seedi the property fore erosion control and plant ar minimum of twenty (20) trees at least six (6) feet high within thirty days of receipt of the notice. If the property owners do not comply, the Village can impose Verified Complaint to Enforce Board of Adjustment(BOA) Order- Carl Taylor; Lot 143/144 Grouse Moor Drive: Four Eggers has filed a complaint and summons against Mr. Taylor and related parties for failure to comply with the requirements of the BOA of January 26"h; including the replanting of trees on the property, construction of an engineered retaining wall to address the instability caused by their driveway Street Repairs and Paving: Tri-County Paving has been in the Village this week for this fiscal year's budgeted street repairs and resurfacing project. Upon completion of the paving, the Public Works staff Tourism Development Authority (TDA) Board Meeting: The TDA Board met on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. The Board approved funding in the amount of $2,750 for promotion of the Village through NC Tripping Influencer. The promotion will consist of thirty second videos on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. The Board also approved funding a proposal from WBTV news station in Charlotte called the One Tank Trip. They will promote Golf, Tennis, and Oktoberfest this Fall in a three minute advertisement on WBTV.
