CITY COUNCIL TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES JULY31, 2024  1. CALLTOORDER  Mayor Chavez called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 7:07 a.m. in the City Hall Community  Room located at 9701 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City.  2. ROLL CALL PRESENT: ABSENT:  Councimember - Chen, Man, Chavez Councimember- - Sternquist, Yu  ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Cook and Community Services and Public Safety Supervisor  Amaya  Captain Meza, Deputy Anchondo, and Deputy Anchondo  3. PUBLIC COMMENTS  Jerry Jambazian, Temple City business owner, commented on the road work near the schools and  sheriff deputy's presence during the city's Wednesday concerts.  4. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - None 5. NEW BUSINESS - None 6. COMMUNICATIONS  City Manager Cook introduced Community Services and Public Safety Supervisor Jose Amaya.  He also gave a summary of the public safety stats for the month of June.  A. QUALITY OF LIFE  Deputy Anchondo provided an overview of the sex offender registrants, paroles, and  probationers in the city for the month of June 2024.  B. OPERATIONS No report. C. CRIME TRENDS  Deputy Anchondo provided an overview of crime trends in neighboring cities affecting  Temple City for the month of. June 2024.  D. NOTABLE ARRESTS June 2024. E. CRIME STATISTICS F.
