OFASTA  TOWN OF ASTATULA MAYOR AND TOWN SUMMARY MINUTES  WORKSHOP  THUR SEPTEMBER10,2 2020 COMMUNITY CENTER  NTY. SINCE 1872  This informal meeting was convened at the new community center following the Budget Workshop at Town Hall at approximately 7:45 pm. The invocation and pledge was given at that meeting. No  recording oft the meeting was taken. Members Present: Mitchell Mack, Mayor Orita Issartel Stephen Cross Gayle Sikkema Absent: Kimberly Kobera  Also Present: Graham Wells, Town Clerk Chief Hoagland  The purpose oft the meeting was for Council members to view the completed community center and to getaf feel for what would be required to equip it with table and chairs and to further the discussion Following lengthy discussion, it was felt that 12 x 60 inch round folding tables, 10 X 8-foot oblong folding tables and between 80 and 1001 banquet style chairs would be necessary. bizchair.com hasa The rental fees had been compared with other cities and the following was their thoughts on the Room A (133 Occupancy) $35.00 per hour for residents; $50.00 for non-residents Room B or C(44 occupancy) $15.00 per hour for residents; $20.00 for non-residents  on rental fees.  huge range oft tables and chairs of differing designs and costs. likely rental schedule tol be finalized ata a future meeting. There would be a two-hour minimum rental period.  A minimum 1-hour cleaning fee of $30.00 for room A and $25.00 for rooms B or Cwould be charged. Further cleaning as necessary would be withheld from the renter's deposit.
