WEST HOMESTEAD BOROUGH Council Meeting March 9, 2021 Minutes Call to Order Vice-President David Harhai called the meeting to order at 6:15 pm. Borough Manager: Bill Etherington Hot topic: Teamsters union contract will expire at the end of year. Created a Police Review Board Will keep all updated. Police Department: Chief Deasy (Rose Scolieri read report 316 calls, 1 felony, 3 misdemeanors, 8 citations, 17 arrests, and 15 prisoners held from Homestead. Volunteer Fire Department: Chief Dindak One of our retired members had gotten the COVID vaccine program here and it did include members of the Clergy and Police. Applied for State and Federal grants. The Borough is very good for giving us a budget to work with.
