REPORTS: Engineer: William Roth Paving is complete, recommend payment. Hired Sewer Technician; he is doing a great job. Sewer system is moving ahead but we have a long way to go. Borough Manager, Bill Etherington Six-month financial review was given. Revenues: $986K actual Vs $1008K budget, $22K unfavorable. American Rescue 2nd payment for $75,000 is on the way. Expenses: $1306K actual Vs $1319K budget, $13K favorable. Railing up to Basic is to be repaired next month. Police Chief, Charles Rozzo Read the police report for the month of June 2022 and year to date. Construction will begin July 18th on Rt. 837. Expect increase traffic on Forest Avenue and Laurel Hill Drive. Working with Manager on getting propers signage. Traffic details are increasing, police presence, more delays. We hope everyone appreciated the work done at the Police station. Working on securing a grant for a new license plate reader. Officer evaluations will begin next month. Fire Chief, John Dindak Read the fire department report: Year to date there has been 193 calls. New garage doors were done through a grant. We saved 15-20K. Fund drive is coming up. Steel Valley Enterprise Zone: Dave Harhai Progress. Steel Rivers Council of Goyernments-Ashley Cain Ons summer break until September. COMMITTEE REPORTS Community Affairs, Barb Ferson Summer Recreation Program is continuing through July 22nd. Community Affairs Meeting is next' Tuesday at 6pm. We have hired a part-time Sewer Technician. Hired Officer Titmus to full time status. Community Day is August 13th. Personnel: Rose Scolieri, Chair Property: Rose Scolieri, Co-Chair Met with Jesse Wig two (2) months ago about the property on the corner of Dave: Advertise "West Homestead is the place," tax incentives'!!
