Fire Chief, John Dindak  Attended the Public safety meeting was held last week. This year has been quiet for WHVFD, 24 calls to date. surrounding Volunteer Fire Departments.  Will be performing a training reassessment for this year while collaborating with Applied for and receive $95K in grants to replace garage doors and replace squad. First Fridays Events in Homestead will go through West Homestead.  COMMITTEE REPORTS  Community Affairs; Barb Ferson, Chair  Clean-up Day will be on May 7th will align with National Clean-Up Day for the Girl/Boy Once again, Clean-Up Day will be hosted at the West Homestead Fire Department. Community Day will be the second Saturday in August (August 13th)  Scouts of America.  Would like to get Police involved for Clean-up Day.  Personnel: Rose Scolieri, Chair  Nor report. Sewer Management: Ashley Cain, Chair  Committee Meeting held prior to Council Meeting to discuss COA requirements. Reviewing documents on the Q1, Q2, and Q3. Timeline of activities.  Working with the Engineers on game plan.    Public Works, Bill McLaughlin, Chair  Learned several things in the Public Works Department. We have a great Public Works Department. We are plowing 9 feet across on a 25-foot-wide street. OnJ January 16/17, our guys plowed all night long.  Will be attending the Newly Elected Officials Class through the Local Government. Discussion on enforcement of proposed Ordinances 719 and 720; should be on agenda  for the next Public Safety meeting or Caucus Meeting. 5. Ms. Ferson abstained from voting; remaining Council voted in favor of motion.  9. Engage Case Sabatini to perform the 2021 Audit. Motion: Mr. Harhai Second: Ms. Cain All voted in favor of motion.  Public Comment on Non-Agenda Items  Jennifer & Steve Vinay, 1311 Vivjon Drive:  Received a violation notice on February 2nd. The notice was from BIU. It dealt with no handrail on stairs. Only codes were noted, they had called Dave Naylor and lefta message. He had called back and was very professional and explained the reason for the violation. They believe they do not have to modify because they carry homeowner Manager (Bill): Borough strongly believes in enforcing "Safety Violations." Michael: Council relies on Dave Naylors (BIU) opinion. If there is a dispute, that is why there are court proceedings to listen to both sides of the arguments.  insurance. They are asking Council to waive the violation.    10.
