OFASTAT OUNTY, 1872  TOWN OF ASTATULA PLANNING & ZONING BOARD MINUTES  REGULAR: MEETING THURSDAY, JUNE 24, 2021  TOWN HALL  Having been duly advertised as required by law, Chairman Boyd called the Regular Planning  & Zoning meeting to order at 6:01 pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance.  Members Present: Marjorie Boyd, Chairman Sean Donnelly Theresa Ann LaBree Leigh Ann Pflugh Karen Smith  Town Staff Present: Graham Wells, Town Clerk Tim Green, Town Planner  Roll Call was performed, and it was determined that a quorum was present.  MINUTE. APPROVAL  Approval of Minutes - February 25, 2021 Regular P &2 ZI Meeting.  MOTION by Member Donnelly to approve; SECONDED by Member LaBree  For: Boyd, Donnelly, LaBree, Pflugh, Smith  Against: None MOTION CARRIED 5-0 NEW BUSINESS ORDINANCE 2021-12  AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF ASTATULA, FLORIDA, REMOVING THE REQUIREMENTS TO CONSTRUCT A SWIMMING POOL AND CABANA APPLICABLE TO THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FORTHE DEVELOPMENT KNOWN ASTULA PARC LOCATED NORTH OF GEORGIA. AVENUE, WEST OF MONROE STREET, EAST AND WEST OF ADAMS STREET, EAST OF WASHINGTON STREET AND SOUTH OF PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE; PROVIDING FINDINGS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE A request has been made by the owner of Tula Parc to amend to the Approved PUD Ordinance 2020-17. The amendment as stated in Section 2 of Ordinance 2021-12 would replace the requirement of providingaswimming pool and cabana withatotlotand; pavilion. This request would not change any other requirements of the development.  DATE. He explained that at the time that the PUD was approved, it included a swimming pool and cabana. During the preliminary plat stage, residents requested not tol have a pool, and this was agreed to by the developer. The preliminary plat now includes just a Pavilion and Tot Ar recommendation to approve or not approve Ordinance 2021-12 amendment to the PUD MOTION by Member Smith to recommend approval of Ordinance 2012 to Council;  Lot, and the PUD isl being amended inl line with it. ordinance for Tula Parci to Council was requested.  Seconded by Member Pflugh For: Boyd, Donnelly, LaBree, Pflugh, Smith Against: None MOTION CARRIED 5-0 ADJOURNMENT  There being no further business, Chairman Boyd thanked everyone for attending; the  meeting was adjourned at 6:07 pm.
