OFASTA  TOWN OF ASTATULA MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL MINUTES  SPECIALSESSION TUESDAY, JULY27,2021 TOWN HALL  COUNTY,FL SINCE 1872  Having been duly advertised as required by law, Mayor Mitchell Mack called the Special Session  meeting to order: at 5.01pm. The Mayor led the Pledge of Allegiance.  Members Present: Mitchell Mack, Mayor Stephen Cross Gayle Sikkema Orita Issartel Absent: Kimberly Kobera  Staff Present: Graham Wells, Town Clerk Wally Hoagland, Police Chief  Roll Call was performed, and it was determined that a quorum was present.  CITIZENS QUESTIONS AND COMMENT There were no citizens at the meeting.  AGENDA REVIEW  There we no changes to the agenda.  NEW BUSINESS  Resolution 2021-13 adopting aj proposed maximum Ad' Valorem taxation millage rate for fiscal year 2021-2022 fort the' Town ofAstatula, Florida, setting the date, time, and location A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF ASTATULA, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A PROPOSED MAXIMUM AD VALOREM TAXATION MILLAGE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 FOR THE TOWN OF ASTATULA, FLORIDA, SETTING THE DATE, TIME, AND LOCATION FOR THE FIRST BUDGET HEARING; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The Mayorr reminded Council that this was brought forward from the last council meeting as the date put forward for the preliminary budget hearing wasn't able to be made by two council members. The Clerk: stated that the new date was September 16th and the final budget hearing Councilman Cross made a motion to read by title Resolution 2021-13; seconded by Councilwoman Sikkema. The Mayor read thet title along with Section 1a and 2 as follows:  for the first budget hearing.  would be held on September: 29th, both at 7:00 pm.  Town of Astatula Meeting! The first public hearing on the budget for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 for the Town of Astatula, Florida shall be held at the Council Meeting Room of the Town Hall of the Town of  Town of Astatula is 7.5000 mills.  Astatula, at 7:00 PM on September 16, 2021.  There being no discussion the mayor requested a motion.  MOTION by Councilman Cross to approve Resolution 2021-13; SECONDED by  Councilwoman Issartel Al Roll Call vote was taken.
