Minutes April 18, 2012  San Anselmo Historical Commission Meeting  Judy Coy convened the meeting of the members of the San Anselmo Historical Commission at Members present: Liz Anderson, Judy Coy, Tom Hendricks, John Maher, Dick Miner, Andrea  7:30 pm on April 18, 2012 int the Museum.  Pearce, Wendy Sylvia  Agenda for the meeting was approved  Minutes from the meeting of March 21, 2012 were approved. (Miner/Coy).  Treasurer's Report: In Joan's. absence Judy reported a deposit of $46.00 which brings the total in Oral History Project: Dick will be interviewing 80 year old Dick Kientz whose family owned a bakery  the Wells account to $1376.06. inc downtown San Anselmo.  Collections/Database Acquisition: Judy shared the following: Butterfield around 1950 out of adobe bricks.  1) Judy was able to scan loaned photographs of the construction of the home at 990 2) Patricia Byrne's (recently deceased Historical Society member) father was a photographer. Judy has arranged to review his slides to see if there is anything ofi interest for the 3) Judy purchased note cards which have old postcard images as well as "Greetings from San 4) Dick brought in some scanned photographs of a home on San Francisco Boulevard being New Hallway Displays: Dick following up on Log Cabin pictures for a new exhibit. Judy also suggested pictures of camping with captions in time for summer. Wendy volunteered to create the Arcadia Book on San Anselmo: Judy is focusing on her talk next week as a priority. Historical Society Program: Judy will host a talk on Samuel P. Taylor for the 2012 program on Thursday April 26'h. Refreshments need to be brought to the museum by 7pm. Docent Schedule: Andrea will help 1st Sat of the month starting in. July.  museum's collection.
