Update on Potential Properties for Designation Roser Church: Chapel structure - Board member Brennan has not heard back from the Trustees, but the Pier (site) Chair Wisniewski has researched the history but wasn'ts sure about the full extent of the site (exclusive oft thej pier). City Planner Minor does not believe al legal description would be necessary for designation. Thel Board agreed to review what Chair Wisniewski had prepared and provide comments. Pine Avenue (site) Senior Administrative Assistant Moriarty spoke to the board about considering designating Pine Avenue as a site for historic preservation. This is something that would be helpful in qualifying for government funding which would help with the Reimagining Pine Avenue Project down the road. Board member Brennan asked ifthis would require "reverting" Pine Ave back to a former condition but per Board member Wagner it would: not. Itj just means any changes would need to go through ai review to keep the site consistent. Also, Senior Administrative Assistant Moriarty said the scope of funding is very limited and none oft the monies would be used for newer buildings - just to maintain the character ofE Pine Avenue. Proposed are paver walkways and bringing Pine back to its pedestrian nature. Next meeting, she Mayor Murphy said for Reimagine Pinei they have divided the work into sections he referred to as "efforts. board members believe iti is'still worth pursuing. and City Planner Minor will bring forward an analysis to present to the board.
