I. City Council will convene for a Regular Meeting at the Elmendorf City Hall at' 7:00 pm March 21, 2024. Citizens Participation Bill Lloyd Upset that his daughter has to pay for garbage service when he contracts for dumpster service. The city required his daughter install a meter for water service when she moved into a second home on his property. This, in effect, required her to sign up for the city's garbage service per city ordinance. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd state their daughter will not use the service and feel it's unfair that they are required to pay for that service. Mr. Lloyd states he would have to drag the garbage/recycle toter halfa a mile down his driveway in order for it to be picked up. Mayor Gonzales states the City Council would have to discuss what to do about his situation but can't at this time since it's not on the agenda. Officer Corona responds that he's been working municipal court for the past six years and needs better equipment would Thankful for the rain but hopes for good weather during the ElmendorfCommuniy Library's Easter Egg Hunt on help. Mayor Gonzales recommends approval of this item contingent to property size requirement being at least half an acre. Discuss and possible action regarding telephone service at City Hall. Councilmember Maldonado had issues getting some phone calls through to City Hall and wishes the phone system would allow al live person to answer the calls. Councilmembers and Mayor Gonzales comment that they have no issue when they call staff on their direct lines. Iti is explained that Councilmember Maldonado's calls were missed during al high-volume call time when the city was without water and there are times when the internet is down which affects the phones because it runs off ofinternet. City Administrator Cody Dailey states that the old-fashioned phone service will soon no longer be available and all land lines will run over internet. No action taken. Adjournment V.
