MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING MAY15,2018 TOCANVASS THE MAY SZISFECAL.IONIGEANERALFIECION  The Hollywood Park City Council met in a Special Meeting May 15, 2018 at 7:06 p.m. in Town Mayor Chris Fails called the meeting to order with the following Council Members present: Mike Howe, Debbie Trueman, Oscar Villarreal, Chris Murphy and Scott Bailey. Also present: City Secretary-Janice Alamia, Police Chief-Shad Prichard, City Treasurer-Anita Moreno- Navarro, Fire Chief-John Butrico, Public Works Director-Kelly Cowan and City Attorney-Mike CANVASSING OF RETURNS OF THE FKCIAL.ONIGENIRAL ELECTION Janice Alamia, the Hollywood Park City Secretary gave the breakdown of the official results since the Election Judge, Helen Hewitt was absent due to illness: Place 4: Delaine Hall - early voting 49/election day 132/ Total 181 Tom Sims - early voting 62/election day 114/Total 176  Hall. HELD MAY5,2018:  voting  Place 2: Debra Trueman = unopposed Mayor: Chris Murphy - unopposed  Early Voting  Voting Day  Total  Reauthorization oflocal sales tax for the maintenance and repair of streets  FOR: AGAINST: UNDER VOTE:  107 9  232 13  339 22  Councilwoman Trueman made a motion to accept the canvassed returns oft the General, Special, Joint Election of May 5, 2018 as submitted by the City Secretary. Councilman Villarreal seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously under an individual vote call.
