June 28, 2024 CITY OF ORINDA  CITY COUNCIL CLOSED SESSION MINUTES  10:00 AM- - SPECIAL MEETING A. CALL TO ORDER/F ROLL CALL  Mayor Gee called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. and noted that all Councimembers  were present.  OPEN SESSION DENTIFICATION OF CLOSED. SESSION MATTERS  The Closed Session Matters were identified.  C. PUBLIC COMMENTS REGARDING CLOSED SESSION MATTERS  Michael Bowen of Friends of the Orinda Creeks asked that the Council choose- a  proactive energetic person as their next City Manager.  D. CLOSED SESSION  a. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT - CITY MANAGER: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957(b), consider the qualifications of candidates for the position of City Manager. b. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS:  Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6, conference with the City's designated labor negotiators: Gary Phillips (Bob Murray & Associates), Deanna Mouser (Attorney for City) to instruct. them regarding negotiations  related to the City Manager position.
