Grading activities involve importing 3,000 cubic yards of soil and the excavation of 20 cubic yards of onsite soil, with all excavated spoils to be retained on the property. Planning Manager's Report 2024 General Conference October 4th-5th 2024 held in San Luis Obispo- if any of the commissioners are interested in attending. Commissioner Schleiger has tentatively Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Grant Project - Community meetings have been held in Magalia, Concow, Yankee Hill, Berry Creek, and South Oroville conceming preapproved ADU plans, with the intent to encourage rebuilding after fires. Outreach and education provided to each community. Preapproved plan sets will have the potential to save thousands of dollars for those rebuilding. The preapproved plans will be available to the public in Mid-October. The ADU ordinance will also undergo some updates with some improvements and to be made consistent with state law. This ordinance update will be heard at the Planning Commission in August. The plans will be available not only for people who wish to build a second home or accessory dwelling unit but for those who want to rebuild a primary unit.
