The meeting of the South Lebanon Township Board of Supervisorswas called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Stephen Krause, with' Vice Chairman Jonathan Beers, Supervisor Robert Griffiths, Township Manager. Jamie Yiengst, Assistant Manager Reba Donley, Public' Works Director Ron. Johnson, and six (6) visitors present. 2. - Chairman Krause led the group in saluting the flag. 3. VISITORS: A. Ronald Birch and Carol Hickey from the Lebanon Valley Conservancy were present to givea presentation on the: services that the Conservancy provides and the importance ofl land preservation. B. Tony and Tanner Zimmerman, 25 Wilhelm Avenue, Jeffrey Chernich, 452 Olde Meadow Lane, and Jim Sak, 16 Edward Avenue were present to observe the meeting. 4. MINUTES: A. The Minutes oft the meeting held on April 24, 2024 were read and approved on motion by Griffiths, seconded by Beers. Motion passed unanimously. 5. REPORTS: A. The Police Monthly Activity and Total Calls Reports for the month of April were reviewed and aƧcepted on motion by Griffiths, seconded by Beers. Motion passed unanimously. B.- The Police Work Schedule for the month of. June was approved on motion by Griffiths, seconded by The Public' Works Report for the month of April was read and accepted on motion by Griffiths, D. The Board was given copies of the General Fund Income Statements ending April 30, 2024. E. The District Justice Report for the month of April, indicating traffic fines of $4,515.62 and non-traffic fines of $937.28, for a total of $5,452.90 collected, was accepted on motion by Griffiths, seconded by Beers. The Board read al letter from the South Lebanon Fire Department requesting permission to host a softball tournament at South Hills Park on September 14, 2024. Permission was granted on motion by C. The Board read al letter from the Lebanon Friendship Cedars requesting permission to utilize South Hills Parki for the falli football season. Permission was granted on motion by Griffiths, seconded by D. The Board read al letter from Patrolman Sean McCarrick stating his intent to retire from the South Lebanon Township Police Department effective. June 21, 2024. On motion by Griffiths, seconded by Beers, the Board accepted his resignation and approved giving Ptlm. McCarrick his duty weapon asa (TASA) Funding for the S.
