Borough of New Morgan Berks County, Pennsylvania  Borough Council Regular Meeting Minutes June 12th. 2023  The regular meeting of thel New Morgan Borough Council was advertised for Monday, June 12th, 2023, following the NMB Utilities Authority meeting at 7:00pm in the offices oft the Borough of  New Morgan, 200 Bethlehem Drive, Suite 104, Morgantown, PA.  Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by President Tressie M. Marroon-Bailey at 7:051 Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Connie Brown-Weber, Mayor  p.m.  Attending Officials: Tressie M. Marroon-Bailey, President Doreen Smith, Vice-President Christopher C. Weber, Member Connie Brown-Weber, Mayor Borough Staff:  Ashlyn Whittingham, Borough Manager/Secretary Thomas Barbine, Finance Director  Guests: William Bailey, Scott Cahill residents. Mike Setley, NMB Solicitor. Beth Vopper and SBLC partners. Ian McDonald, Aaron' Tappana; Panattoni. John Walsh, Andrew Hoffman, Heather McHugh, Ben Bomett, Daniel Nugent Jim Engleman, Benjamin Simpson; Robeson/Caernaryon  Township residents. Keith Domchowski; Reading Eagle.  Public Comment: NONE  Minutes: Minutes from the previous meeting were reviewed. Christopher Weber motioned to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. Doreen Smith seconded the motion. The vote was  unanimous. The motion carried. Correspondence: None  The following reports were submitted to Borough Council:  Codes Enforcement Officer: None Sewage Treatment Plant: None Engineer/SEO: None    Solicitor: None Borough Manager: None  Treasurer: Treasurer reports were presented to council and reviewed  Fire Department: The Twin Valley Fire Department sent the monthly report, and it was presented to EMS: The February report was received from the Chiefof Operations for EMS, Matthew Welch. Doreen Smith motioned to approve the reports as given Christopher Weber seconded the motion.  Council.  Mayor: Nothing to present  The vote was unanimous. The motion carried.  Business:  A. The Borough Council agreed to review the proposed amendment of a PRD Ordinance to the Borough'sz zoning ordinance from the Planning Committee. Doreen Smith made the motion to recommend the council to review the amendment. Christopher C. Weber seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous. The motion carried.  Amotion was made to have the Public Hearing for the proposed amendment on July 10, 2023. Christopher C Weber made that motion and Doreen Smith seconded the motion. The vote was Aratification was made from the Borough Council for the delivery of the proposed PRD Ordinance to the Berks County Planning Commission for their review.  unanimous. The motion carried.  The next Regular Meeting will be held on Monday, July 10-,2023.immediately following the  Utility Authority meeting at 7:00 p.m.  Adjourn: Christopher C.
