Borough of New Morgan Berks County, Pennsylvania Borough Council Regular Meeting Minutes March 13*. 2023 The regular mecting of the New Morgan Borough Council was advertised for Monday, March 13h, 2023, following the NMB Utilities Authority meeting at' 7:00pm in the offices oft the Borough of New Morgan, 2001 Bethlehem Drive, Suite 104, Morgantown, PA. Call to Order: The mecling was called to order by President Tressic Marroon-Bailey at 7:07 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Connie Brown-Weber, Mayor Attending Officials: Tressic M. Marroon-Bailey, President Doreen Smith, Vice-President Connie Brown-Weber, Mayor Borough Staff: Ashlyn Whittingham, Borough Manager/Secretary Thomas Barbine, Finance Director Cassandra Ferrell, Notary. Public Comment: None Guests: William Bailey, Scott Cahill residents; Beth Vopper, Southern Berks Land Company; Minutes: Minutes from the previous mecting were reviewed. Doreen Smith motioned to approve the minules from the previous meeting. Christopher Weber seconded the motion. The vole was unanimous. The motion carried. Correspondence: None The following reports were submitted to Borough Council: Codes Enforcement Oflicer: None Sewage Treatment Plant: None Engineer/SEO: None Solicitor: None Borough Manager: None Treasurer: Treasurer reports were presented to council and reviewed Fire Department: The Twin' Valley Fire Department sent the monthly report, and it was presented to EMS: The February report was received from the Chief of Operations for EMS, Matthew Welch. Doreen Smith motioned to approve the reports as given Christopher Weber seconded the motion. Council. Mayor: Nothing to present The vote was unanimous. The motion carried. Business: A. The Borough Council executed the revised final subdivision plans, at recommendation of the Planning Committee. Plans A, B, Cand 3A, 3B, and 3C as provided by Kaufman Engineering. Tom Barbine took the plans t0 the Berks County Recorder of Deeds, March 16-,2023, for resubmission. Chrislopher Weber motioned tD execute the revised final subdivision plans and Doreen Smith seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous. The motion carried.
