Borough of New Morgan Berks County, Pennsylvania Borough Council Regular Meeting Minutes August 14h, 2023 The regular meeting ofthel New Morgan Borough Council was advertised for Monday, August 14h, 2023, following the NMB Utilities Authority meeting at 7:00pm in the offices oft the Borough of New Morgan, 200 Bethlehem Drive, Suite 104, Morgantown, PA. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by President Tressie M. Marroon-Bailey at 7:02 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Doreen Smith, Vice-President Attending Officials: Tressie M. Marroon-Bailey, President Doreen Smith, Vice-President Christopher C. Weber, Member Connie Brown-Weber, Mayor - Not here Borough Staff: Ashlyn Whittingham, Borough Manager/Secretary Thomas Barbine, Finance Director Guests: William Bailey, Scott Cahill residents. Public Comment: NONE Minutes: Minutes from the previous meeting were reviewed. Christopher Weber motioned to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. Doreen Smith seconded the motion. The vote was Correspondence: Ashlyn Whittingham informed council that a permit was approved for Vehicle Charging Stations to be installed behind C building. located at 200 Bethlehem Drive. The following reports weresubmitted to Borough Council: Codes Enforcement Officer: None Sewage Treatment Plant: None Engineer/SEO: None Solicitor: None Borough Manager: None Treasurer: Treasurer reports were presented to council and reviewed Fire Department: The Twin Valley Fire Department sent the monthly report, and it was presented to EMS: The February report was received from the CheforOperations for EMS.
