MINUTES WARREN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION Warren County Courthouse Commissioners' Conference Room May 7, 2024 5:30 P.M. The regular meeting of the Warren County Planning Commission was called to order by 1st Vice Chair Jeff Zariczny. ROLL CALL: Members Present: Members Absent: Staff Present: Guests Present: APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Andy Brooks, Brian Jennings, Jacob Pangborn, Paul Pascuzzi, Sheryl Vanco, Gary Wareham, Jeffrey Zariczny Michael Lyon, Laurie Burdick, Ben Mahaffey Leslie Bailey, Thomas Brown Josh Cotton (WTO) The Minutes of April 2, 2024 were approved unanimously with a motion by Gary Wareham and second by Andy Brooks. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS: 1. City of Warren - Subdivision/ Application = Geothermal Energy - Clark St. - Warren, PA - Tax Parcel #WN-579-124 Michael Lyon presented this item to the Planning Commission and explained the proposal. A motion was made by Jeff Zariczny, with a second by Jake Pangborn, to recommend this application for approval. A vote was taken and City of Warren - Subdivision Application - The Landing East - Liberty St. - Michael Lyon presented this item to the Planning Commission and explained the proposal. A motion was made by Jeff Zariczny, with a second by Jake Pangborn, to recommend this application for approval. A vote was taken and all were in favor; motion carried. Warren, PA - Tax Parcel WN-575-9922 2. all were in favor; motion carried. Blighted Property Review Committee 3. A. (#91) - 59 Grant St., Tidioute Borough - parcel #TD-271-825300 n Michael Lyon provided photographs of the property and stated that the structure suffered a fire on the second floor, was declared blighted by owned by James Struck & Whitney Kong ZONING OFFICER'S REPORT: Ben Mahaffey stated that he has issued 50 permits to date, which seems to be on track with previous years. He has 8 violations pending, and has been issuing permits for pools and sheds. COMMUNICATIONS: Nothing to report. OTHER BUSINESS: None.
