Blueprint Communities is an FHLBank program that supports investment: and revitalization of communities and neighborhoods in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and' West Virginia. Created by FHLBank in 2005, thei initiative catalyzes revitalizing communities through collaboration: and investingi in local leadership development and capacity. ESSAI Bank and1 Trusti is ther member bank through FHLBank supporting the White Haven The White Haven Blueprint Communities Team Members attended al kick-off meeting in Harrisburg on April 29th. Thet team will receive intensive support during an: 18-month training portion of the program. Throughout this time, participants will attend training in bothy plan development and the building of capacity fori implementation. Blueprint Communities training is under the auspices of the Pennsylvania Downtown Center (PDC) with support from thel Penn State University (PSU) Extension Service and other consultants. Support will continue overa a: 10-year period and will include help with prioritizing initiatives, connecting to expertise, buildinga aj plan of action, and accessing implementation resources. Projects and outputs will be designed with community input to address locally identified needs. The plan mayi include strategies toi increase tourism, develop quality affordable housing, support the local business community, and redevelop historic buildings - thereby fostering strong local leadership, collaboration, and development capacity. Police, Fire, and ambulance services are available 24 hours 7 days a week please call 911. Occupancy permits are required for new owners and new tenants. You can find borough council meeting minutes on borough website Blueprin COMMUNITIES TTL MAEK Casella will continue to be the borough's trash hauler for the next five years. Starting July 1, 2024 there will no longer be any bulk trash pick up offered in our contract. You can arrange to have bulk items picked up directly with Casella by calling 570-234-0514. They will ask you for your address and items to be picked up. They will give you a price at that time to pay for the removal directly to Casella. You may also use) your own hauler for bulki items or take items to a local dump. We will continue with trash and recycling pick up each Monday. Ifal Monday falls on a holiday such as Labor Day the pick up will be moved to Tuesdays. All trash billing to residents remains within your property taxes. What does NOT belong in my recycle bin?
