Ann Miller, Todd: Larsen, Greg Pocius, Sarah Knickerbocker and Mayor Also, present, Blake Dunbar Jr. Esquire, David Leh, P.E, Anne Klepfer, Borough Manager, to order at 7:00 PM: at Borough Hall, 140 Main Street, Schwenksville, PA 19473. Joe Giunta. Secretary-Treasurer Gail Phillips. Absent, no one. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS Mayor's Report, Mayor Giunta read the State Police statistics of 24 incidents for February 2017. Fire Company Report, Jim Keyser reported 5 calls for the month of February 2017,1 151 Firefighters Responded, 2:03 Time in service. Two calls in Schwenksville, Two calls in Lower Frederick, One call Jim Keyser is resigning from Fire Marshall & EMC & UCC Board. His resignation will be effective Thursday March 9, 2017. Council regretfully accepts Jim's resignation. Jim appreciates Council and all the hard work they do and it has been aj pleasure serving Schwenksville. Jim also would like you to consider Christopher Melville for thel Fire Marshall and) Emergency Management Coordinator positions. Motion Greg Pocius second Lee. Agencies. We had a meeting last week with the Conservation District which went very well and they are very supportive. Protection and the Army Corps of Engineers down in Norristown and they want a more detailed SOLICITOR'S REPORT: Blake Dunbar Jr. reported on a Quick Claim Deed of Dedication and Easement Agreement for Permanent Public Access among the Fire Company, Michael L. Sabo and Julia M. Sabo, and the Borough was prepared and sent to Fire ChiefJames Keyser for his review. Under. Anne's report the agreement needs to be adopted by the Borough Council. Berger Lane: A portion of Berger Lane is in Lower Fredrick Township where a property owner owns the road and has closed it to thru traffic. The road is in disrepair and he does not have the funds to fix it. Thel Developer's Agreement simply states that the Home Owners Association is responsible for the maintenance of the roads. Lower Fredrick Township will be sending al letter to the owner that his is required to open Berger Lane. For now they are: requiring one lane of traffic be open to Emergency Vehicles. Borough Council is against converting this to an emergency egress. The development plans call for two entrances/exits and that is what they think is appropriate. For the Period January 1,2017 through February 28, 2017 total income for General Fund and Liquid Fuels Funds was $53,322.58 and Total Expenditures was $59,295.95 fora a net loss of -$5,973.37. General Fund experienced a net loss of-$5,185.91. General Fund. Assets total $276,811.81, Capital fund. Assets total $24,339.85 and Liquid Fuels Fund Assets total $28,541.60 for a combined Assets total of $329,693.26. Manager's Report: A monthly activity report was submitted to Council by Mrs. Klepfer. Authority is changing Insurance carriers and going with DVHT Health Trust as well as their Liability and Workers Compensation. They will not cover the secretary for the Borough unless the Borough joins DVHT. They have extended the coverage to Borough employees until December 3, 2017. The secretary's coverage will cease in April if the Borough does not join DVHT. There is no charge to join DVHT. Council did not have any objections and will wait to interest. review the more detailed proposal and documents when they are available.
