Preliminary Report and Public Hearing regarding a Special Use Permit for Wine and Malt Beverage Retail Permit (On-Premise) for Woodlands HI Hotel, LLC known as Hampton Inn and Suites located at 18200 IH 45, Shenandoah,Texas. Mrs. Thompson advised the Commission the Special Use Permit (SUP) for Hampton Inn and Suites located at 18200 IH 45, Shenandoah, TX. Mrs. Thompson advised this is the second public hearing for the application and added the city! has received no public comments on the application. Preliminary Report and Public Hearing regarding a variance to City of Shenandoah Zoning Ordinance allowing for construction ofa pool, pool equipment and pool enclosure within the side and rear building setback for164 McGoey Circle, Shenandoah, Texas. Mrs. Thompson advised the Commission the homeowner wishes to construct a pool in the backyard and due to the size oft the yard the property owner is requesting to encroach within the rear and side setbacks. The variance request would allow fort the pool, pool equipment and enclosure within thei four foot rear and side setback. Chairman Stephens opened the public hearing.
