CITY OF SCHULENBURG SCHULENBURG, TX April, 19, 2021 The City Council of the City of Schulenburg met in regular session on Monday, April 19th, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers located at 607 Upton Avenue, Schulenburg, Texas. The elected officials present included Mayor Elaine Kocian, Aldermen Chip Bubela, Ben Herzik, Clarence Ahlschlager, and Larry Veselka. City Staff present were City Administrator, Tami Walker, Chief of Police, Troy Brenek, Operations' Manager, Darryl Moeller, and Mason Florus. Visitors included Layne Vyvjala of the Schulenburg Sticker, Pastor Lemae, Greg Thomas, and Mayor Kocian called role and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Pastor Lemae said a prayer over the Under Presentations, Proclamations, and Recognitions, Mike Brotherton of Belt Harris & Penchacek presented the Annual Financial Report of the Year-Ending September 30, 2020. Mr. Brotherton presented the draft and the finalized audit will be accepted by Council at a later date. Chief answered yes but it would continue to put his department in a bind.
