(James Herrera) James Herrera, Project Manager, updated the Commission that per the addressing coordinator for Williamson County 911 did not have any issues with renaming this segment. Should be able to make name change in 6+-1 month. The property owners are okay with the change. James is waiting on ai response from Williamson County. James suggested the naming of the spur to be Market Street Spur. No action was taken. c) Hear update, discussion and consideration of report on ownership of the street next to James Herrera, Project Manager, updated the Commission that he is getting the new City Attorney up to speed. There is not as street there, people were. just using it as one. The EDC has gone forward with making improvements, but they've been told that the City will not install a James updated the Commission that the house next to parsonage is now up for sale. (J.Herrera) James Herrera, Project Manager, updated the Commission that Pape Dawson, City Engineer, can start as soon as plan is approved. This will include updating the traffic plan that was last done in 2018. Itwill take approximately 12 months to complete. James read al letter from Pape-Dawson that included the scope and impact fee and CIP issues. Pape-Dawson will utilize the 2040 Comp plan in its study. Pape-Dawson will fast track this study to assist the City. The study will include a speed limit study, drainage, and One-Way streets. No action was taken. e) Hear Update, discussion and consideration of report from James Herrera regarding This matter was discussed during item 4.c and is part of the Pape-Dawson work load now. Herrera) action was taken. f) Discussion, consideration and possible action to recommend to Council the approval to put up No Parking signs from Myrtle to Grange and Hickman on Main Street. (D. Gyergyo) James Herrera, Project Manager, presented to the Commission that the City Manager would like the Public Works Commission to forward a formal recommendation to City Council regarding no parking on Main Street from Myrtle to Hickman. Once we get ADA compliance in the back ofParker's the City can close parking in the front of Parkers. The Commission suggested that it is appropriate forl No Parking on Main Street from 1869 to Hickman. The parking in front of Parkers and Indigo Salon is not safe. The Commission would like the Police Chiefto attend the next Public Works Commission meeting. The contract has poured cement for all the base work. Itis almost ready for drainage boxes and then asphalt. The contractor is going steady and may be done by the end ofthis year. No action was regarding the Williamson County /Liberty Hill Bypass. taken. h) Hear Report/Update on Public Works information presentation made to the Liberty Hill The LHEDC Board ofDirectors requested an update on Public Works projects (with a focus on the Downtown Area) and Mr. Herrera spoke to the Board at their meeting ofMay 15, 2024. James Herrera, Project Manager, updated the Commission that the EDC has asked before the meeting to be briefed on specific things toi include water projects and downtown, etc. James informed the Commission that the fire flow will help the 5-year plan. There are plans to upgrade the different pipe sizes which will be paid for with the. ARPA funds. There is also a plan to upgrade the line along Van Alley. The Commission was concerned how this would affect Downtown. James informed the Commission that the City needs to be working on al higher level on getting water, and getting it to Liberty Hill, Blue Water, etc. There is also concern that septic tanks are restricting downtown. The City would like to get them over to gravity line. The City is hopefully going to get Santa Rita off South Fork plant which will allow downtown to attach to it. James also let the Commission know that the Water/Wastewater plan is being done at this time. i) Discussion regarding the proposed Liberty Hill Downtown Master Plan. On May 22, 2024, City Council will hear a presentation on this proposed Downtown Masterplan during the 5:001 PM to 6PM City Council Workshop. This plan, commissioned by the Downtown Revitalization Committee and financed by the Liberty Hill Economic Development Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors. (J.
