Quorum was established and all members were present. respectively. 2) PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are welcome. You may. submit Public Comments inj person, or you may submit to the City Ms. Kathy Barber of 105 Howard Lane, Cierra Vista, addressed the Commission, advising that she had gotten ai notice about rezoning some AG (Agriculture) land. Ms. Barber stated that she would like to ask that ifit is rezoned that they be good neighbors, especially on lighting; and that they be quiet after certain hours. (M. Hicks) Postponed until February 6, 2024. 6) REPORTS (M. Hicks) a) Receive the Projects in Motion report, as provided by the Development Services department. Interim Director McKenzi Hicks presented the Projects in Motion Report in the packet, highlighting that the only new addition in building permits is for Freedom Libations. Interim Director Hicks also advised that she had added some site plans and went over those provided in the report. b) Receive the monthly Director's Report as provided by EDC Director, Mary Poché. (M. Hicks) There were no questions or discussions. Secretary Williams advised that the latest report oft the EDC Director can be found in the EDC packet for their meeting on January 17th. City Council Update - P&Z Items FY2 2023-2024. Fee Schedule Approved P&Z Commission Appointed as. Impact Fee Advisory Committee - More information to be provided at thel February 6th P&Z Meeting. Interim Director Hicks advised that the water rate was currently at the maximum but the waste water is not yet, and that the Commission is to make ai recommendation to the Council. Chair Messana asked ift there had been approval for more than being charged or ifthis was toi increase the caps. Interim Director Hicks advised it was to make a recommendation relative toj potentially increasing waste water within a range. 2024 Planning and Zoning Commission Retreat February 2nd - February 3rd at' Tea Thyme Café in Marble Falls, TX 8) FUTURE ITEMS taken on these items. Items for future agendas may be identified and. scheduled. There can be no deliberation or action Interim Director Hicks updated the Commission, and there were brief discussions, as follows: Parks and Recreation Board Signage Sidewalk Fee-in-Lieu Ordinance - being drafted Impact Fee. Advisory Committee (February 6th P&Z Meeting) Bi-Annual Update Meeting with City Council -J January 2024 (March 2024) Development Agreement Workshop - Kimley-Horn meeting this week to outline how it will be conducted and it will include other related elements like TIRZ (Tax Incremental Progress Report - Stop-Gap Ordinance Work Group with Interim Director Hicks. UDC Rewrite Update received email from Verdunity who will be sending more information on. January 22nd tol let the City know the response following thej joint meeting. P&Z/EDC Joint Special Meeting Minutes - will get with the City Secretary Reinvestment Zones) Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) Ordinance Update - ongoing Vice-Chair Chad Cormack asked if another Commissioner could attend the Cross Committee Communication meeting on January 18th at 4 PM. Secretary Williams volunteered to cover the meeting.
