CALL TO ORDER Mayor Carlos Garcia called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. II. INVOCATION AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Carlos Garcia led council and guest ini the Pledge of Allegiance to the American and Texas Flag and said the prayer. Ilt. ROLL CALL Council members Susan Hines, Shad Hill, Larry Koch were all present. IV. REVIEW OF MINUTES FROM THE FEBRUARY 3, 2020 REGULAR MEETING.A motion was made by Larry Koch with a second by Susan Hines to accept the regular meeting minutes for February 2020. Motion passed by unanimous vote. V. REGULAR REVIEW, RATIFY AND PAY BILLS. A motion was made by Shad Hill with a second by Larry Koch to accept the bills. Motion passed by unanimous vote. VI. OPEN FORUM: Mrs. Patty McRight spoke. No council action taken.  James Dickson and Marsha Laughlin were absent.  NEW BUSINESS:  1. Take action by calling to order the General Election being held on May 2, 2020 for (1) one Mayor and (2) two Councilmember at-large positions, by Ordinance 03022020. A motion was made by Shad Hill with a second by Larry Koch to call to order the General Election to be held on May 2, 2020 for (1) Mayor and (2) Councimembers. Motion passed by unanimous 2. Discuss and take action by accepting the contract with the County of Lampasas Elections Administration and election expenses. A motion was made by Susan Hines and a second by Shad Hill to accept the contract with the Elections Administration and to accept the election expenses. Motion passed by 3. Discuss and take action regarding bid from H&H Tree Services for removal of dying oak trees and removal of stumps. A motion was made by Susan Hines and a second by Shad Hill to table this item and take no action at this time to allow for more bids.. An Ad will be placed in the Lampasas Dispatch to allow 4. Discuss and take action to re-appoint Larry Koch as Zoning Commissioner and Inspector for a one-year term. Carlos re-appointed Larry Koch as Zoning commissioner and Inspector for a one-year term.
