I. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Carlos Garcia called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. II. INVOCATION AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Carlos Garcia led council and guest in the Pledge of Allegiance to the American and Texas Flag and Chief Melissa Cantul led the prayer. III. ROLL CALL Mayor Carlos Garcia was present. Council members Susan Hines, Shad Hill, Larry IV. REVIEW OF MINUTES FROM THE. JUNE 1, 2020 REGULAR MEETING. A motion was made by Susan Hines with as second by Larry Koch to pass the minutes for the. June 1, 2020 regular V. REGULAR REVIEW, RATIFY AND PAY BILLS FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE 2020. A motion was made by Shad Hill with a second by. James Dickison to approve the bills the month of June 2020. a. Margaret Williams spoke about the break-ins at her storage units in town. b. Brenda Faubion, gave praise to our Maintenance Department for all their hard work. Ross Oliver spoke to discuss line item #2 on the agenda. d. Michelle Butler came in to discuss thet future of Lometa and the Coronavirus.  Koch and. James Dickison were all present. Marsha Laughlin was absent.  meeting. Motion passed by unanimous vote. Susan Hines abstains. Motion passed.  VI. OPEN FORUM:  OLD BUSINESS:  1. Discuss and consider take action regarding al bid from H&H Tree Services from removal of  dying oak trees and removal of stumps. No action taken.  NEW BUSINESS:  2. Discuss and consider acting by reducing the requirement of 2 officers to 1 officer for Area Go Texan's upcoming event. (Ross Oliver will represent the organization and will be present at meeting) A motion was made by Susan Hines with a second by Larry Koch to allow for the reduction of officers with the organization obtaining at their own cost a Police Officer and then the City of Lometa will have al Police Officer present during the event times needed, at no cost to the organization. Motion passed by unanimous vote.    3. Discuss and take action by approving the TML Health Insurance Dental Benefits. A motion was made by Shad Hill with a second by James Dickison to have no changes occur In Dental 4. Discuss and take action by accepting the Special Use Application submitted by Paula Dycus address 502 W Main, Lometa, Texas, 76853. A motion was made by Shad Hill with a second by Susan Hines to accept the Special Use Application listed at the address above. Motion 5. Discuss and take action by approving a quote from Area Wide Locksmith for 2 replacement doors for the Senior Center. Ar motion was made by James Dickison witha second by Shad Hilli to approve the Area Wide Locksmith quote in the amount of $3029.00 to replace the Senior Center doors. Susan Hines abstains. Motion passes. 6. Discuss and take action by approving a quote from Sign Designs of Texas fora replacement RV Park sign. A motion was made by James Dickison with a second by Larry Koch to approve the quote from Sign Designs ofT Texas fora a replacement RV Park sign. Susan 7. Personnel. Ar motion was made by Susan Hines with a second by. James Dickison to enter into executive session to discuss personnel. Council went into executive session at 8:18 p.m.  Benefits.
