I. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Carlos Garcia called the meeting to order at7 7:00, p.m. II. INVOCATION AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Carlos Garcia led council and guesti in the Pledge of Allegiance to the American and Texas Flag and led the prayer. III. ROLL CALL Mayor Carlos Garcia was present. Council members Susan Hines, Larry Koch and James Dickison and Marsha Laughlin were present. Council member Shad Hill was absent. IV. REVIEW OF MINUTES FROM THE. JULY 6, 2020 ORDINANCE WORKSHOP AND THE. JULY 6, 2020 REGULAR MEETING. A motion was made by James Dickison with a second by Marsha Laughlin to pass the minutes for the. July 6, 2020 ordinance workshop and. July 6, 2020 regular meeting. V. REGULAR REVIEW, RATIFY AND PAYI BILLS FOR THE MONTH OF. JULY: 2020. A motion was made by Larry Koch with a second by. James Dickison to approve the bills the month of July 2020.  Motion passed by unanimous vote. Susan Hines abstains. Motion passed. VI. OPEN FORUM: No one spoke. NEW BUSINESS:  1. Discuss and take action by setting the dates for our annual budget workshops. A budget workshop was set for August 10, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. with at tentative meeting on August 17, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Ar motion was made by James Dickison with a second by Susan Hines to have the workshops listed above on the dates and times listed. Motion passed by 2. Personnel. A motion was made by Susan Hines with a second by Marsha Laughlin to enteri in executive session to discuss personnel.
