CALLTO ORDER Mayor Carlos Garcia called the special called meeting to order at 5:45 p.m. II. ROLL CALL Mayor Carlos Garcia was present. Council members Susan Hines, Shad Hill, Larry Koch and Marsha Laughlin were all present.. James Dickison was present at 8:53 p.m.  II. OPEN FORUM: none. NEW BUSINESS:  1. Discuss and take action by proposing a tax rate for the FY 2020 - 2021 and set a public hearing date and time. A motion was made by James Dickison with a second by Shad Hill to propose the total tax rate of $0.352314 on each $100.00 dollars of all taxable property within said City of Lometa. Motion passed by unanimous vote and this tax rate will be  adopted on. September. 14, 2020 at 7:15 p.m.  **No hearing is required to adopt the proposed tax rate, therefore, adoption will be passed in the regular council meeting following the Public Hearing for the FY Budget 2020 - 2021 on September 14, ADJOURN: At 6:06 p.m. a motion was made by Susan Hines with a second by Larry Koch to adjourn the  2020.  meeting.
