MINUTES  THE CITY OF LOMETA COUNCIL CHAMBERS! IN CITYHALL 100ESAN: SABAST, LOMETATX76853 512-752-3331 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 5, 2021 7 p.m.  There will be a (final) PUBLIC: HEARING for the F.A.S.T Fund Grant (Fire Truck) at the beginning of the meeting. The public hearing began at 7pm and a GrantWorks representative was present to give a brief message to council and citizens detailing the financial information and cost for the totalg grant. There was no other citizen participation SO  council moved into the meeting.  CALLTO ORDER Mayor Stephen Brister Hicks called the meeting to order at 7:02 II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Stephen Brister Hicks led council and guesti in the  p.m.  Pledge of Allegiance to the American and Texas Flag. III. INVOCATION Melissa Cantu led council and guests in prayer.  IV. REVIEW AND ACCEPT THE MINUTES FOR THE MARCH 1, 2021 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AND' THE MARCH 5, 2021 SPECIAL CALLED MEETING. A motion was made by Susan Hines with a second by Doug Brister to regular meeting  minutes. Motions passed by unanimous vote.  VI. REVIEW, RATIFY AND ACCEPT THE BILLS PAID DURING THE MONTH OF MARCH 2021.A motion was made by Doug Brister with a second by Marsha Laughlin to approve thel bills the month of March 2021. Discuss and consider adopting a Citizen Participation Plan for the City of Lometa related to the submission ofa a Community Development Block Grant application to the Texas Department of Agriculture. A motion was made by James Dickison with a second by Susan Hines to adopt the citizen participation plan 2. Discuss and consider approving Resolution Authorizing Submission of the City ofLometa's 2021-2022 Texas Community Development Block Grant Program application. A motion was made by Ronnie Cartwright with a second by Doug Brister to approve Resolution 04052021 authorizing the submission oft the City of Lometa's 2021-2022 TxCDBG program application. Motion passed by unanimous 3. Discuss and take action by approving a new Municipal Court Case management: system called Icon provided by Net Data. A: motion was made by James Dickison with a second by Doug Brister to approve the court to change their case management: system to Icon. Motion passed by unanimous vote. 4. Discuss and consider taking action by adding sewage in the RV Parka area within Lometa Regional Park. A motion was made by James Dickison with a second by Susan Hines to table this item until May 2021 regular council meeting. 5. Discuss and consider giving the maintenance department: a raise in hourly pay.Ar motion was made by Doug Brister with a second by Ronnie Cartwright to give the maintenance department a $1 raise effective May 1, 2021.
