REVIEW, RATIFY AND ACCEPT THE BILLS PAID DURING THE MONTH OF MAY 2021. A motion was made by Marsha Laughlin with a second by Ronnie Cartwright to approve thel bills for the month of May 2021. Tico Hicks, a local resident, came in and spoke about the bees at the Masonic Lodge and how they were attacking people on the. sidewalk and street, she was able to contact. Shad Hill who called the Redneck Bee Wranglers who came and handled the. situation. 2 large beehives were relocated. She also. stated that ifthe RV Ordinance is not going to be enforced then it should bei rescinded. Also, Danny Dixon came in and: spoke on behalfofthe American Legions Post #116: saying that they would volunteer at no cost to the city to maintain the Lometa Reservoir, no strings attached and asked the council to keep opening the Lometa Reservoir on the agenda. Consider/discuss: authorization for the City of Lometa to issue requests for proposals (RFP) for administrative services and requests for qualifications (RFQs) for professional services for the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. A motion was made by Ronnie Cartwright with a second by Marsha Laughlin to issue request for RFP's for administrative services and RFQ's for professional services for the ARP Act of 2021. Discuss and consider action: change all signature cards on the following accounts and CD's held at Bancorpsouth Bank, Lometa to show only Mayor Stephen Brister Hicks, Mayor Pro tem Marsha Laughlin, Lindsey Grant and Amanda Tower. Remove Susan Hines from all said signature cards. Accounts are as followed: CD's numbered: xx9624, xx1751, xx4147, xx0174, and xx3181.
