A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR OPERATING BUDGET OCTOBER 1, 2021 - SEPTEMBER: 30, 2022 FORTHE CITY OF LOMETA, TEXAS. AND. APPROPRIATING THE: SEVERAL SUMS SET UP THEREIN TO THE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES THEREIN NAMED AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. A motion was made by Ronnie Cartwright with a second by Johnny Towerton to adopt the proposed Budget for FY 2021-2022 by Resolution No. 09302021. Discussion and possible action necessary to ratify the Property" Taxl Revenue Increase Reflected in the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Budget. A motion was made by Ronnie Cartwrightwith: as second by James Dickison to increase the tax rate by the adoption ofa tax rate of $0.404533 which is effectively a 14.83% precent increase in the tax rate. Motion CitySecretary Lindsey Grant brought to the City Council and City Attorney's attention that the motion made (for line item 2) was for the wrong line item and needed to be recanted with an A motion was made by James Dickison with a second by Johnny' Towerton to recant the prior motion made to pass the adopted tax rate of $0.404533. Discuss and Consider Action: Employment Matters related to Lometa Police Department Resignations by Officer Cerda and Officer Lazard.
